Below are common sets of contracts and document and this has been created for new members as a guide. There may be additional documents that you require depending on your specific business needs. If you're a corporate member please contact the REC Legal Team for further advice. 

Please also be aware that our Model Documents may appear longer than necessary due to the associated notes intended to assist you in drafting your documents. There are clear instructions on what should be deleted from the templates.

Temporary recruitment - PAYE agency workers


Temporary recruitment - umbrella company

Client Contracts  Contract 3A Combined Terms of Business with a client for the supply of PAYE workers, umbrella company and limited company contractors  
Candidate Contracts 

Contract 4 Terms of engagement with a PAYE Agency Worker (Contract for Services) – This should be provided to workers who are not already engaged with an umbrella company when you first provide work-finding services. This will be superseded with their contract with the umbrella company. 

  

Contract 4A – Terms with an umbrella company – Recruitment businesses do not have terms directly with umbrella company workers following the above note. Instead, you have a contract with the umbrella company who will have a contract with the individual worker.

Contract 3A Combined Terms of Business with a client for the supply of PAYE workers, umbrella company and limited company contractors – Use this where the client has to comply with the off-payroll rules

Contract 4B – Terms with a PSC (inside IR35, client must comply with the off-payroll rules)
