Stand by for Launch…
Government and campaigns
We’re only a week away from launching our new brand at this year’s REC industry awards ceremony. It’s been a fascinating journey which has made us think deeply about the REC’s purpose and future.
We’re very happy with the new look we’ve created – and we hope you will be too! We’ve replaced an outdated brand with designs that are modern and relatable.
But more importantly, our new brand clearly sets out who we are, and how we support the industry.
We are confident these changes will encourage more agencies to join us as corporate members, more individual recruiters to become REC Professionals, and more employers to sign up to the Good Recruitment Collective (formerly known as the Good Recruitment Campaign).
This is our goal because a bigger REC network will mean that more of the industry will commit to the professional, ethical and compliance standards we represent.
This will help us speak up on behalf of the industry, and showcase the positive impact that recruitment has on the lives of individuals and on the economy.
This is your REC
We know that it’s not good enough just to attract new members – we need to provide quality service so that once you’re part of the REC, you want to stay with us.
Our brand refresh is just the start of a much bigger upgrade to the tools available to support recruiters.
Following hot on the heels of our brand launch, we’ll soon roll out a new, top-spec Customer Relationship Management system (CRM). REC colleagues have spilled much sweat and tears to roll out this technology, but it’s been worth it because it’s an essential part of our drive to improve customer service.
The new CRM will unlock innovations we’re building into our new website, such as making sure you see content and support from us based on what we know about you.
The website will launch in the New Year and we’re very excited about the impact this is going to have.
So that you can benefit from all that our new technology has to offer, we’re asking our corporate members to update the records we hold about their business, via an online form. If you haven’t competed this yet please do because it will help us understand how we can provide you with more of what you need.
Supporting recruiters in 2020
Added to these innovations is our ongoing work to prepare recruiters for Brexit, IR35, and upcoming legislation changes – so it’s fair to say it has been a busy 2019!
As we speak, we’re working on making REC membership even better for you in 2020. We can’t wait to show you the fruits of our labour, starting at the awards next week.
