REC2021-Inclusion

Business advice

In the last year we've seen businesses across the economy commit to promoting inclusive work environments, and celebrating diversity.

Inclusivity is a major theme running through REC2021 and we have a host of sessions discussing how to make your post-pandemic plan as inclusive as possible.

In his keynote address, Lord Karan Bilimoria Chairman of Cobra Beer and President of the CBI, will share what he has learned about recovering from adversity over a long career, and what we in the recruitment industry can do to accelerate inclusion and diversity amongst our leadership.

You will have the opportunity to hear positive insights and the great impact that inclusive workforce and wellbeing had on business performance.

In our second breakout session of the day, we will discuss how consultants can make themselves stand out. What makes a client stick with you, and how can having an inclusive workforce help make your whole business stand out too?

In our fourth breakout session we turn to the impact of technology on the sector and how social media has made business more accessible and interactive. How can we use these new digital communications channels to reach out and become as inclusive as possible?

In a closing keynote address, Nicolas Hamilton will talk about his journey from a child with cerebral palsy who was told he may never be able to walk, to a professional racing driver at the top of his field. He talks about his belief that ambition is only ever limited by attitude and how the challenges he’s faced has made him the man he is today.

Inclusion is one area in which every 21st century business wants to excel and these REC2021 sessions will show you how. Find out more about participating in the day, get networking with other professionals and see what other sessions you can attend on areas such as expanding internationally and recovering from business setbacks.
