HMRC confirmed in the November 2016's Autumn Statement that they were pushing ahead with their proposed reforms to IR35. These changes to IR35 legislation will affect those operating in the public sector and will come into effect from April 2017.

We are still waiting for final legislation and expect it to be published in late March 2017. As soon as we have further information, we will share it with members.

The REC has campaigned extensively on this matter and continues to raise the concerns of members to government officials. If you are being effected by the changes to IR35, please get in touch so that we can share these issues with HMRC.
