Levy Company become REC Business Partner

‘The target market for THE LEVY COMPANY’ says Jim Clarke, Managing Director, ‘is all those recruitment companies who, so far, have treated the Apprenticeship Levy as a small tax.

Due to the new IR35 rules affecting the Private Sector by April 2020, it is likely Apprenticeship Levy pots will no longer be small as more temps/contractors move over to PAYE.

As IR35 plans are completed, the Apprenticeship Levy will then have the chance to move up the list of priorities and more attention given to upskilling their staff and recruiting tomorrows young talent.

The opportunity to network with REC’s client base to promote the TLC Apprenticeship package will be a great help in MAKING STARS OF THEIR STAFF!’

Neil Carberry, CEO of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation said:

“The REC has argued for a long time that the Apprenticeship Levy needs reform. Our Training for Temps campaign is about businesses being able use the levy flexibly – making it work for temporary workers who want to learn new skills and support productivity. REC is very pleased to announce our new business partnership with The Levy Company. We look forward to working together to help recruiters make the most of the opportunities that are out there to make great work happen.”
