Who we are:
Paul Waters Associates has been established since 1981, working with organisations across many different sectors to improve their sales teams' retention and ongoing performance.
Since 1994 we have specialised in offering the SPQ*GOLD sales test (now in its 15th generation) to UK businesses – predominantly recruiters themselves - to add science to their internal hiring, ensuring they choose people who will cope well with the vital sales aspect of the role and thus avoiding the bad ‘interviewed well but turned out to be poor’ hires.
What we do:
The SPQ*GOLD sales test measures whether Recruiters will sell. It is used for internal hiring by 200+ Recruitment businesses to establish - regardless of how capable a person seems on paper or impressive they are at interview - whether they have the appetite, resilience and comfort to consistently seek client/candidate opportunities. It weeds out those people, both experienced and inexperienced potential hires, who end up never doing the required sales activity and costing you £1,000’s in time, money and growth.
The process for using SPQ*GOLD is simple. We administer the test to your potential hire and then send you the results. Every SPQ*GOLD sales report is accompanied by our own manually written interpretation. It all runs on a simple ad hoc, pay as you go basis. i.e. no subscription or licensing costs. You only pay for an SPQ test when you need one..
