Researchers

As part of its remit as the professional body for the recruitment industry, the REC provides high quality research on jobs, recruitment and best practice which is useful to recruiters, the business community, policy makers and the media.

The REC is a research-led organisation which champions the positive impact of the recruitment industry on the UK labour market, and helps recruiters run their businesses more effectively. Publications include monthly tracking surveys of recruitment activity and employers’ future hiring intentions, annual reports on the value of the UK recruitment industry, and individual reports on important topics related to recruitment and employment.

The REC conducts research independently and in partnership with leading market research firms, business organisations and think tanks.

Our monthly publications, Jobs Outlook and Report on Jobs provide insight into hiring intentions and analysis of the labour market on a month-by-month basis.
