Get involved in our mentoring scheme

As part of the GRC, you get exclusive access to a programme established for those team members who are seeking professional and personal development.
The scheme provides both mentors and mentees with the opportunity to develop within their roles.
  • For those seeking to be mentored, the programme offers a confidential platform for regular guidance, support, and feedback so that they can develop their potential and capability.
  • Mentors are selected based on their areas of expertise, availability, and geographical location, and will be paired up with suitable mentees by the GRC team.
  • All potential pairings will be approved by the participants before any introductions take place.

Become a mentee

  • For those interested in becoming mentors, the scheme offers an opportunity to reflect on their own practice, obtain a wider understanding of business operations and improve overall job satisfaction.
  • Mentors will be selected based on their areas of expertise, availability, and geographical location, and will be paired up with suitable mentees by the GRC team.
  • All potential pairings will be approved by the participants before any introductions take place.

FAQ's

1. How many people can participate from my organisation?

There is no set limit on the number of mentees/mentors you can put forward

2. How do mentees/mentors get matched?

Mentors and mentees are paired up based on their areas of expertise, skills/interests, geographical location, etc. Once we receive the completed forms, the next step involves an email from us suggesting a suitable mentor and we will ask for your permission before making any introduction.

3. How long will it take to get a match?

The timescales will vary greatly depending on the number of applicants and their preferences (specialisms, mode of contact, geographical location ect) as well as mentor availability. Pairings typically occur within a month of sending through an application. The sooner we receive the forms, the sooner a match can be made.

4. Are temporary staff eligible?

We suggest putting perm/FTC staff forward initially. As long as they are employed and paid by a GRC signatory, they are entitled to be part of the scheme.

5. Does this cost anything?

There is no cost attached to this when it comes to paying us. There may be individual costs such as travel to meet the mentor/mentee.
