All recruitment businesses need a complete understanding of pay settlements and forecasts to plan ahead.

REC members will be able to access Croner’s monthly Settlements & Forecasts report from March 2017.

It provides updates on pay trends across a number of sectors and regions.

What does it feature?

Croner's Settlements & Forecasts report contains detailed commentary about pay trends on a month-by-month basis.

The report includes analysis from Croner's team of labour market experts, and earnings movement for basic and total pay every quarter.

March 2017

4.7% of companies reporting a pay freeze in March hit the all-time-low figure, matching January’s record. 


February 2017 

In February's report, the average settlement for the year was 2.3 per cent including pay freeze, which has increased by 0.1 per cent from January 2017. This is the highest entry since April 2016.


January 2017 

In January's report, the percentage of companies reporting a pay freeze was 4.7 per cent. 


December 2016 

In December's report, the average settlement over the next 12 months, excluding pay freeze, is 2.2 per cent. 


November 2016 

In November's report, 12.1 per cent of companies reported a pay freeze - a three per cent fall on October 2016.
