Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) takes client security to the next level with Mailock

UK cyber security firm, BeyondEncryption, has announced the roll out of its Mailock® secure emailsolution to REC members and for use at the REC’s London Head Office.

The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) is the not for profit professional body for the UK recruitment industry providing training, accreditation, legal and business services to the recruitment industry.

The announcement was made at the REC’s annual awards ceremony, held at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, and champions the confederation’s initiative seeking to help its members deal with the increasing problems associated with cyber crime.

As an industry dealing with highly personal information on a day to day basis, Mailock® will empower REC and its members to securely communicate using email regardless of whether they are using a laptop, tablet or mobile phone.

Using military grade encryption, Mailock® protects the content of an email message, plus any attachments, and using ID verification ensures sensitive data is only ever made available to the intended recipient. The solution provides a robust audit trail of ‘proof of delivery’.

Mailock®  enables businesses and their customers, to exchange confidential email communications securely, quickly and efficiently, which is imperative in our online world.

Neil Carberry, CEO of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation said: “The REC is continually finding new ways to help members overcome the challenges they face on a daily basis. Cyber crime is a key business risk of the modern age and recruiters need to stay ahead in order to thrive. Meeting regulatory requirements and the expectations of clients and candidates starts with getting the right advice. We’re very pleased to introduce Mailock®  to the REC network.”

Steve Searle, Beyond Encryptions Recruitment Specialist and co-founder of Matchtech commented: “The recruitment sector is approaching £40 billion in value so the threats presented by cyber crime to the industry are huge. As the leading representative for such a large industry I am delighted to see the REC championing such vital topics and supporting its members to address such critical issues in today’s online world.

Paul Holland, CEO at Beyond Encryption, says: “We’re delighted that the REC has chosen Beyond Encryption to empower its members and protect this critical area of activity. Email is the worlds preferred business communications medium and is particularly important where personal sensitive information is being transmitted such as CVs, payslips, contracts, invoices, bank details.
