COVID-19 Legal FAQ: returning to the workplace after lockdown

One of the questions we are being asked a lot at the moment is about how to manage a return to the workplace following the end of the lockdown period.

There are a lot of factors to take into account when considering how to manage a return to work and so there are a number of things that employment businesses will need to be aware of.

The main thing to take into account is the thoughts and feelings of your employees. Particularly those who are living with vulnerable persons or are otherwise at higher risk of the coronavirus.

Likewise, there is likely to be ongoing restrictions regarding social distancing and other health and safety matters, so obviously, these will need to be taken into account when managing a return back to the office.
