Which IRP Company Award should I Enter?
Business Advice 06th Jun 2019

There are ten Categories at Company level for the IRP Awards 2019, www.IRPawards.com/enter We've summerised what we're looking for in each to make it easier for you to decide which you are best suited for:

Best Back-Office Support Team
Is your team an integral part of business, bringing in hot leads with your excellent marketing, keeping everyone organised with your top-notch administrative skills, keeping finances in check and more? Just because you’re not customer facing or directly responsible for recruitment doesn’t mean you’re not praiseworthy for your essential work. Go for the Best Back-Office Support Team category

People Development Business of the Year
Free to enter if your company is an IRP advocate, this applies to businesses that can prove they really care about their staff. Is training, qualifying and progressing your employees at the heart of your business strategy? Does your organisation identify training needs quickly and invest in individuals properly, so everyone develops together, as a team? Do you have mentoring, coaching, open learning as well as formal learning programmes, in-house or outsourced? If you can show evidence of successful staff retention and career progression, then enter the People Development Business of the Year category.

Best Company to Work for (up to 20, 50, 150, 250 and over 250)
These five categories all require the same excellence and commitment to staff wellbeing, the only difference is the scale at which the activity is demonstrated. Does your company value it’s employees? Could you evidence a culture that motivates and engages staff, like business plans that are based on feedback and continuous input from people at all levels? If your company believes that excellence in recruitment depends on happy recruiters then you should enter the Best Company to Work for Category that most closely matches your company’s size.

Best Recruitment Team of the Year
Did your agency carry out a record-breaking project this year despite unique challenges using initiative and demonstrating best practice? How could you demonstrate your recruitment team’s ability to work together supportively to achieve excellence in recruitment? If you manage or are part of an outstanding team that deserves recognition for the impact it’s had on your candidates, clients and company then you should enter the Best Recruitment Team of the Year Category.

Recruitment Campaign of the Year
Do you feel your company has managed to go the extra mile, innovate and manage resources strategically? Could you demonstrate an outstanding partnership with a client to create an effective recruitment campaign? If you can show evidence of a cohesive partnership and outstanding strategy then the Recruitment Campaign of the Year category is one you should enter.

Corporate & Social Responsibility Practitioners of the Year
Has your recruitment business invested time and money into its people and community? Do you feel engagement with stakeholders as well as staff is balanced? Is your agency one with a strong moral core, with a business plan that includes working with charities and helping people in need? If your organisation can demonstrate a healthy balance between the needs of steak holders, staff , the environmental and charitable causes then you should enter the Corporate & Social Responsibility Practitioners of the Year category.
