The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) is the professional body for the recruitment industry. It is a condition of membership that a member agency has in place a Complaints Procedure to deal with complaints. If you have a complaint about an REC member, we encourage you to raise any complaint directly with the member in the first instance.
If you are not satisfied with the member’s response please refer to the links below which will tell you how to make a complaint. The REC can deal with complaints against members through the REC’s Complaints and Disciplinary Procedure.
We appreciate that making a complaint to any organisation can be a difficult decision to make. We do expect courtesy to our staff whilst we are trying to help you with your complaint. Please do note that any language or behaviour which our staff consider to be offensive or of a harassing nature may result in any complaints investigation being suspended.
