The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) is a Mayoral Development Corporation that was set up in 2012 and is responsible for delivering one of the most important Olympic legacy promises made in the original London 2012 Games bid.  The pledge concerns the physical legacy of the Games; the long-term planning, development, management and maintenance of the park and the impact that it has on the surrounding areas and communities. The organisation are directly responsible to the Mayor and therefore Londoners themselves.


The organisation is made up of approximately 150 employees working across a variety of business sectors including; Property Development, Regeneration (both physical and socio-economic) Town Planning, Event Management, Marketing and Communications, HR, Finance, Procurement and I.T.
