We’ve come a long way since we were first founded in the 1960’s.  In fact, we’ve now grown into a multi-million pound business.

 

We’re lucky enough to have more than 170,000 colleagues working across 621 stores, 24 depots, home offices and our main head office (which is based in Leeds.  They help over 18 million people who visit an Asda store each week, and those customers who visit us online.

It’s our aim to be the country’s most trusted retailer. And we promise our customers that we’ll help them to ‘Save Money. Live Better’.  We also take huge pride in playing an active role in the communities we serve – helping to make them healthier, happier places to live.  In 1999 we joined Walmart – the world’s largest retailer.  As a result, we’re now part of its global family, spread across 11,454 worldwide locations.
