PROOF OF ID:

Candidates unable to produce ID as per the official ID policy on exam day will not be permitted to sit the examination. If you have recently changed your name and your ID is not reflecting the change, you must bring proof of name change (marriage certificate, deed poll, etc.)

 

LATENESS: There is a maximum twenty-minute allowance for candidates to be admitted into the examination after the start time. Candidates arriving more than twenty minutes late will not be allowed to sit the examination, nor will any refund of examination fees be given. Candidates who arrive whilst an examination is in progress will not be granted extra time.

On arrival at the venue, candidates will be greeted by an REC invigilator and registered. The invigilator’s role is to ensure that the examination is conducted in a fair and standardised manner. The invigilator will indicate any relevant seating arrangements and read out examination instructions at the start of the exam.

Candidates will not be allowed to use mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic devices (including calculators), dictionaries or translators during the examination. Only blue or black ink is acceptable. Use of correction fluid is not permitted. Candidates must use the Answer Booklet to answer the questions. Ticks/notes/answers within the Question Paper will NOT be taken into account.
