TechnologyEstablished in its current form in September 1993 (as the IT & Comms group), the Technology Sector Group currently has over 400 members committed to raising standards across the industry.

The Technology Sector Group's Mission is:

  • To represent the Technology recruitment industry, both within the REC and more importantly to the Technology community, including clients, candidates and key stakeholders.
The Technology Group’s Vision is:     
  • To set increasingly high standards of professional practice and ethical values throughout the industry;        
  • To be the focal point for the communication and supply of information throughout the industry;      
  • To ensure our policies reflect the views and needs of our members;
  • To promote our views to both government and industry;
  • To continuously improve the value members derive from the sector;
  • To strengthen our standing as the recognised representative body for the Technology recruitment industry.
