Our sector group is made up of REC member agencies who deal primarily with the placement of nannies, au pairs, nursery staff and maternity nurses.
The REC has a strong voice in promoting our members' interests to Government and relevant bodies, through intense legal and lobbying campaigns and through the position it holds on the Council for Awards in Children's Care and Education.

REC provides UK perspective at ASA global recruitment conference
The REC was invited to take part in the American Staffing Association conference which took place in San Diego last week and which this year ran in parallel to the annual CIETT conference. The event provided an update on global recruitment trends many of which are directly relevant for the industry in the UK.

Vote taken on EU temp work regulations but implementation must be delayed, says REC
The REC's Chief Executive Kevin Green has responded to the European Parliament decision on the EU Agency Workers Directive, saying:" The UK’s £26.6 billion recruitment industry will be directly affected by the new legislation."
