Sectors

In the dynamic and diverse recruitment industry there are often issues affecting particular sectors of the market.

REC offers fourteen focussed sector groups which bring together agencies with a common interest to lobby, champion best practice, network, share knowledge and develop the reputation and professionalism of their specialist market.

Sector group members are passionate about their market and receive additional support and benefits from REC to keep them at the forefront of their industry. 

In 2010 the REC will be rolling out a further eight groups to complete our specialist sector representation for the entire recruitment industry. These groups will be Industrial, Legal & HR, Office Professionals, Pharmaceutical & Scientific, Sales & Retail, Shipping, Rail & Air and Social Workers.

These groups were developed following research among REC members, industry stakeholders and interviews with recruitment agencies.
