The REC’s research agenda is critical to the future success of the recruitment industry in the UK. At a national level, the REC’s ability to robustly demonstrate the economic and social value of temporary and permanent recruitment underpins its ability to lobby effectively. Our research also helps us to secure high-profile media coverage each month creating a powerful platform to communicate key messages to a wide audience.

The REC Industry Research Unit is committed to working with leading market research firms, academics and think-tanks, as well as stakeholder partners such the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and CIPD, to deliver world class research that supports and enhances the professional development of recruitment in the UK.
