Congratulations to our chairman, awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List

This Saturday our chairman Neil Smith was awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.

Neil dedicates a great deal of time to the REC and to the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. He is a great example of someone who invests his own and his business’s time in putting something back and making a real difference.

He is also a really good guy to work with, who enjoys what he does and I am personally delighted that he has been recognised in this way.

This is a fantastic honour and I hope that Neil and his family feel proud that all his hard work and dedication has been rightly recognised with the MBE.
