REC to judge British Excellence in Sales and Marketing Awards

The REC’s Director of Professional Development, Judith Armatage and Head of Training, Andrew Carr, have been invited to be judges for the prestigious British Excellence in Sales and Marketing Awards (BESMA) next month.

The awards are organised by The Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (ISMM), the UK’s only professional body for salespeople from whom the REC received official endorsement two years ago for its high quality sales training programmes.

The awards comprise 14 different categories ranging from Sales Director of the Year, Marketing Director of the Year, Sales Support Team of the Year to Sales Trainer of the Year. The finalists for each will be announced on March 7 with Judith and Andrew helping to make the crucial choices on judging day, March 17 with the Awards ceremony taking place in London on May 26.

Commenting on being judges for the awards, Judith Armatage said:

“We have a close affinity with the ISMM as we are both committed to driving up and maintaining standards within our own respective industries.

“These awards will give us a great opportunity to forge even closer links with the ISMM and gain a greater understanding of the excellent work it is doing within its field, which in turn, will help us ensure our  training courses are relevant,  dynamic and totally in line with the current best practices within sales and marketing.”
