Renewing your Membership

The time has come to renew your annual membership or REC. We are delighted to announce that REC had some key wins for the sector in 2007. As our “Annual Industry Turnover and Key Volumes Survey 2006/7” indicates the industry continues to experience significant growth in both the permanent and temporary/contract markets. With more than 100,000 staff employed in the industry, the total industry turnover now stands at £26,6 billion, an increase of 7.4% since the 2005/6 survey and its highest recorded level.

In addition, we have had exciting times so far in 2008. We will be continuing to raise the visibility of the REC and Corporate Membership through direct dialogue with Employers and Job-seekers. The Future of Employment Working Group (employers) and JobSmart Uk (candidates) will provide high profile campaigns, meeting on both a national and regional level. These will further enhance the value of your membership status by proving directly to these key groups, that yours is a quality business that lives up to the industry’s Code of practice.
