All Corporate Members are required to agree to the Code of Professional Practice, which is enforced through our complaints and disciplinary procedures.
How does my organisation apply?
You can chose to register your details in order for information to be sent to you directly. Alternatively you can start the process online here. There are four key steps to go through when applying for Corporate Membership.

- Code of Practice
- Membership Application Form

- Your Business Sector
Step 2 : All members must agree to adhere to our Code of Professional Practice and it is important to read this through carefully before you join.
Step 3 : Complete the Application Form and Payment Calculation Form.
The REC have Industry Sector Groups for 12 business areas which give you industry specific support. You can apply to join a Sector Group within your application.
Step 4 : Send your completed Application Form including your Terms and Conditions and relevant documents which are specified on the application form. Alternatively you can adopt REC model Terms and Conditions. These will be sent to you on application and will significantly speed up the application process.
What happens next?
Once your completed application has been received it will be processed within one week if you have adopted our terms and conditions, or five to six weeks if you wish to use your own.
Once approved and processed, applications will be publicised on the REC website to allow existing corporate members the opportunity to raise any concerns in relation to adherence to the REC Code of Professional Practice.
Providing there is no objection from REC Members you will be elected and sent a welcome pack outlining the many benefits and services that are now available to you with details of how to access them.
Calculation of Fees
The membership fee is calculated on the basis of your company turnover. Please see the Payment Calculation Form above. A one-off joining fee of £50 + VAT (£58.75) will also apply.
Membership is valid for 12 months (Membership year 1). Upon renewal you will be required to pay a pro-rata amount to 31st December for membership year 2. For subsequent years subscriptions will become due on 1st January.
