Senior managers and directors looking to enhance their leadership skills will gain from this qualification. The DipRL provides practical learning that will add value to the services you provide to clients and candidates, as well as the knowledge to establish best practice within your own business.
Complete this course at home with our distance learning option, and choose when you take your assessments.
Students must complete a minimum of eight or nine units – all the mandatory units plus one or two from the optional units (the number depends on the units chosen) – to be awarded the full qualification. The units are assessed through a combination of examinations, projects and case studies.
Units can be completed at any time within four years.
Your examinations will take place online.
- Gain an advanced understanding of professional practice, including business strategy and planning, leading teams, financial management, stakeholder relationship management, and understanding contracts
- Once enrolled, you will work through the mandatory units, with assistance from your assigned study coach. You’ll have the option to meet virtually, three times a year for three full-day workshops, discussing selected units.
- Four examination points per year
- Completing the mandatory units enables you to choose your optional units and then fully qualify
- Successfully passing this qualification will give you the right to add the letters DipRL after your name.
- Become an REC Professional when you take this course - for 12 months after passing the exam

If you don't want to commit to the entire qualification, you can enrol on one unit at a time to fill specific skill gaps. While we recommend completion of the DipRM in full, each unit is assessed and awarded independently.
You can enrol on individual units for £745 + VAT per unit, or the whole course is £4,950 + VAT per person.
We recommend booking no more than two units per exam cycle.
