We ask that our external recruitment providers are signed up to industry codes of practice and demonstrate a commitment to good recruitment practice.


What we expect of GRC signatories

  • The REC has a Code of Professional Practice against which all corporate members are benchmarked when they sign up to become an REC member
  • REC members are subject to a complaints' and disciplinary procedure. Complaints that are not resolved through formal investigation may be referred to the Professional Standards Committee (PSC). The PSC is made up of members of REC as well as representatives fromboth the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC)
  • REC members are required to pass a compliance test (further details below)
  • REC Professional Membership has a Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct
