The REC’s Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) celebrated its tenth annual award ceremony last night at the Royal Lancaster hotel in London. The IRP Awards recognise recruiters’ professional excellence and best practice. The evening was hosted by sports presenter Mark Durden-Smith.

REC chief executive Neil Carberry said:

“These awards are a celebration of the amazing talent in the recruitment industry which is made up of 115,000 dedicated professionals across the UK. The REC is about brilliant recruitment and that’s what these winners represent. They have shown great commitment to their jobs and demonstrated best practice. As always this year’s IRP award winners have beat out stiff competition and been judged by non- industry names such as Pepsico, Mercedes-Benz and Santander.

“The efforts of all those nominated should be recognised as these individuals are all helping to grow our industry by increasing the value it provides to clients, and the opportunities it provides to candidates.”
