Existing members will need to pass the Recruitment & Employment Confederation’s (REC) Compliance Test every two years in order to renew their membership. Only recruitment agencies that demonstrate they are fully compliant with the law and higher ethical standards demanded by the REC Code, are able to remain members and use the REC logo.That is why taking and passing the Compliance Test is so important.
The initial cycle for existing REC members to take the test was from the beginning of January 2013 to the end of December 2014. Existing members will have three attempts to pass the test within this period and every two years after that. So, the second cycle will begin in January 2015 and end in December 2016, and will continue in this manner.
