National Temporary Workers Week
After nine glorious years of celebrating the contribution of the UK's temporary workers REC is bringing this campaign to a close. Tempweek was launched all those years ago as part of an ‘Agency Work’ profile initiative, for our lobbying work on AWD. That reason is no longer applicable.
Likewise we will not be running the 'One in a Million' awards this year.We may start a new, more relevant week-long campaign next year but there is nothing specific planned for June this year aside from REC continued activity, which includes a Public Sector Summit on 8th June.
You may of course continue to celebrate your temp workers in your own way if you wish. And if you recognise the importance of awards for your business and your consultants, then please consider entering the IRP Awards.
