Extensive feedback has been received from recruiters by the REC’s Academy for Business as part of its current Qualifications Review.
Report on Jobs published today by the REC and KPMG shows that the number of people placed in new jobs by recruitment consultancies continued to increase in August, but growth slowed further from March’s peak. The latest rises in both permanent and temporary staff appointments were the least marked for 10 months.
Member input will drive the next phase of the REC's Public Sector Resourcing campaign. A specific survey, sent out this week, will gauge what is happening on the ground with public sector staffing and will feed into the REC's messages to politicians and procurement bodies.
