About Us

The Childcare sector group is made up of REC member agencies who deal primarily with the placement of nannies, au pairs, nursery staff and domestic workers.

The REC has a strong voice in promoting our members' interests to Government and relevant bodies, through intense legal and lobbying campaigns and by engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. 

There are many challenges facing the sector, including the Ofsted regulatory regime,  changes to immigration policy, and most of all standards amongst recruiters. It is more important than ever that we come together as a sector and confront these challenges in unison.
