The latest issue of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s JobsOutlook, the monthly survey of employers’ hiring intentions, shows employer confidence grew throughout the first quarter of 2012 to reach its highest level since the survey began in March 2009.

This month’s JobsOutlook report from the REC shows employer confidence increased again in February and now stands at its highest level in the past 12 months. This reflects the steady improvement in hiring intentions that began in December.
The REC has responded to the Chancellor's Budget and the impact the measures contained within it will have on the jobs market.
The REC has called on Chancellor George Osborne to be bold in his Budget today and announce measures that would boost employer confidence in order to stimulate job creation. To this end, REC Chief Executive Kevin Green and Tom Hadley, the REC's Director of Policy and Professional Services, will be Tweeting ahead and during the Budget about any announcements which will have an impact on the recruitment industry.
