Government launches series of country-wide AWD consultation events
A series of country-wide events are to be hosted by the Government during June and July, to give interested parties an opportunity to discuss the Agency Workers Directive and its implementation in the UK. Recruitment agencies will want to attend their local event, as it should give them an opportunity to raise issues relevant to them and to obtain further details on the proposals and how it may impact on the future use of agency workers.
The REC has a series of materials to support members to help members raise our areas of concern. These are listed in our Agency Work Commission Report and member briefings. Click here for further information.
The dates and locations of the events are below, and further details on how to book a free place are available on the BIS website.
