REC builds links at Conservative Party Conference
The REC External Relations team is represented at the Conservative Party Conference this week in Birmingham. The REC has already built links with a number of key contacts within the Conservative party and this week’s event will provide a further opportunity for highlighting the recruitment industry’s objectives on a number of key policy issues.
Speaking from the conference in Birmingham, Tom Hadley, the REC’s Director of External Relations, said: “A number of the main sessions and fringe events at the conference have already discussed issues of direct relevance to the recruitment industry such as employment regulations, the impact of the economy on jobs, the benefit of a flexible labour market and public services reform.
"We will continue to build on our existing relationships with the Shadow business team and other senior officials in order to take forward the views and concerns of REC members."
A summary of some of the key discussions at the Conservative Party Conference will be made available to REC members.
