REC reminds members of legal obligations ahead of Wednesday’s national public sector workers’ strike

A number of trade unions have responded to the TUC’s Day of Action in the ongoing dispute about public sector pensions. As a result, a national strike involving public sector workers is taking place on Wednesday (November 30).

Businesses may be affected if their employees need to take time off to look after children if their schools are closed. Employment businesses also need to understand how they should manage the supply of temporary workers to organisations whose staff are on strike.
