REC On The Road visits the north-east next week
The north-east region is the port of call for the REC’s On The Road series of events next week (Wednesday September 15).
Middlesbrough and Newcastle are the locations in the region for two CEO Updates being presented by Kevin Green, the REC’s Chief Executive.
This is a chance for members to discuss current issues affecting their businesses, for example, the introduction of the Agency Workers Regulations next October, the public sector cuts, squeezes on margins and the continuing negative perceptions of the recruitment industry.
Commenting about the On the Road events and their aims, Kevin Green said:
“These discussions are very much driven by members who are facing many challenges because of the prevailing conditions in the jobs market. These updates provide the ideal platform for them to talk about specific issues so we can take on board their comments for our future campaigning and lobbying work.”
The Middlesbrough event will take place at the town’s Thistle Hotel while the Copthorne Hotel is the venue for the evening update in Newcastle.
