How can my Agency Participate?

There are hundred of ways to get involved in National Temporary Workers week. To maximise the PR value be innovative, create interesting photo opportunities and give the press plenty of notice, we give you some suggestions here, remember whatever you do let us know!

Link your involvement to a local employment issue for example you could host an open day to women returners.
  • Reward your temps with free training or even some pampering- perhaps a session with a lifestyle coach or a desk based shoulder massage.
  • Visit your temps on site. This will give you a valuable contact with your clients and workers. Why not take along breakfast, lunch or other treats? These have proved very popular in the past. Don’t forget to take along information about your agency and the National Temporary Workers Week campaign.
  • Host an event. This can be anything from a high profile reception at a prestigious venue, to a simple get together in your office. Get invites out early think about your clients and key local stakeholders as well as your temporary and contract workers.
  • Get out and about promoting the opportunities for temporary workers. Maybe take some display space in a local shopping centre or other prominent venue where you can register candidates.
  • Reward those registering during the week with a little gift.
  • Give your own series of awards for your most outstanding temporary and contract workers. Involve your clients by getting them to put forward nominations.
