Charlotte from Roath was nominated by recruitment agency Hays Marketing in Bristol for whom she has been working since December 2006.

She started her career as a solicitor but eight years ago decided to change direction and moved into public relations. “Her fresh thinking, enthusiasm and dedication to the cause have enabled us to develop new fundraising ideas and her commitment to ending cruelty to children has shone in all aspects of her work.”

Claire Sharp, Hays’ Business Manager for the South West and Wales, said:  "Since her initial registration Charlotte has proved to be an exemplary Consultant. Charlotte has excellent technical ability, work ethic and communication skills.

“She is also  extremely reliable and has always shown determination to fulfil her assignments to the highest standard.  As such I have the up most confidence in representing her to any of my clients."

Helen Reynolds, the REC’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, said:  “Charlotte’s change of career has certainly paid dividends both for her and the NSPCC whose testimony to her speaks volumes about the positive impact she has made in a relatively short space of time.”
