Standards and Best Practice

On joining, all REC members sign up to our Code of Professional Practice.

The Code was created in consultation with industry stakeholders to ensure employers and jobseekers receive the highest recruitment standards.

The Code is binding on all corporate members of REC and makes certain they will: 

• Always agree clear terms of business with you as soon as possible
• Comply with all relevant legislation
• Ensure workers are suitable for your assignment
• Take up references for each member of temporary staff
• Respect your confidentiality
• Be accountable for their actions

REC corporate members are inspected yearly against the Code of Professional Practice.
