Barclays were the first bank to have a team focused purely on the recruitment industry. Barclays have played an active part in supporting the industry through the downturn in 2001-3 and are active investors in the industry.

Barclays now have banking relationships with 80% of the Top 20 companies by Turnover (source Recruitment International Top 100) and have recently extended their team to six experienced Relationship Directors/Managers in London, now covering all recruitment companies with a Turnover in excess of £1m. In addition to the London team, Barclays also provide industry focused Relationship Directors across the country for companies with Turnover in excess of £10m.
