How you could benefit from OEE’s Lean Service Training

Individuals who successfully complete oee’s structured Lean development programmes will receive an appropriate Lean qualification. OEE is accredited by LERC to assess and certify those individuals who pass the rigorous standards set and certifications constitute a recognised Lean qualification from Cardiff Business School.

Lean Training Available

The OEE Lean Training Programme is flexibly structured to allow you to choose the route that suits you best. Introductory Lean Training is offered at two levels:

OEE’s Introduction to Lean Course – Accredited by Cardiff University’s Lean Enterprise Research Centre – Level 1A
Who should attend?	The course is targeted at staff at all levels who need to understand the concepts and be aware of Lean. The Introduction to Lean course provides an excellent starting point for understanding Lean in the service sector.
Course overview	The Course Includes: History of Lean 5 Key principles of Lean: Specifying Value Identifying the Value Stream Creating Flow Creating Pull Seeking Perfection Practical demonstration of Lean principles in action Case Studies
What will you learn?	On completion of the course you will be able to: Understand the 5 Key Principles of Lean and know where Lean can be applied to deliver business benefits and competitive advantage Be able to communicate knowledgeably about Lean and how it could influence your business Use learning to identify potential improvements in your operations

OEE’s Lean Foundations – Optional – Accreditation by Cardiff University’s Lean Enterprise Research Centre – Level 1A
Who should attend?	This course is aimed at people who will play an active role in Lean improvement projects, either as an engaged line manager or as a Lean specialist or internal consultant.
Course overview	The Course Includes: 7 Wastes Capacity Planning Lean Quality Process Mapping Process Standardisation, Standard Operations and User Guides Team-based Problem Solving Team Communications Visual Management Work Design Workplace Management
