REC Board of Directors
The Board is the governing body of REC, and directly and through committees, supervises the work of the Executive. Many directors chair a committee or specialist forum. The Board is bound by the Constitution contained in the Memorandum, Articles and Rules.
The Board consists of 12 representatives of Corporate members and 7 individual members appointed either by the membership at the annual general meeting of the REC or by the Board itself during the course of the year as vacancies arise. One third of the directors will stand down each year at the AGM, and any member can be put forward, in accordance with the Rules, for election.
