REC and PCG Codes for Recruiters and Contractors

The REC IT & Comms Sector Group, in conjunction with PCG, has created 3 new Codes for the Industry.

Two REC Codes have been created to ensure the highest possible standards of practice are met and maintained throughout by member recruitment agencies and consultants.

One code is designed for working with clients, and the the other is for dealings with jobseekers and contractors, including one person limited companies working within the sector.

In tandem with this, PCG, in conjunction with the REC has also drawn up its own voluntary Code of Conduct for contractors in their dealings with recruitment agencies. The PCG/REC Code of Practice has been developed to ensure both the contractor and the REC agency receives the highest standard of work.

If a client or contractor wishes to make a complaint against an agency they can do so by contacting REC Professional Standards Team at standards@rec.uk.com
