Specialist Drivers Recruitment

REC Drivers Sector Group members specialise in providing flexible labour services to the Transport Industry. The Group represents high standards and best practice in the specialist field of driver recruitment. Established in 1991, the REC Drivers Sector Group currently has over 200 members.

The Drivers Sector Group aims to:
  • Continuously improve standards and professionalism within the industry for the benefit of the industry and its users.
  • Encourage effective communications between clients, drivers and members.
  • Raise the status of and improve the market for the Drivers Sector Group through marketing and PR initiatives.

Driver Sector Group Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is made up of volunteers from within the Sector Group membership. The Committee represents your issues and flags up concerns and priorities of the Sector. It consists of the Chair of the Sector Group and 4-6 other swho work with REC Staff on issues that affect the industry as a whole and the members themselves. The Committee meets quarterly to discuss upcoming issues relevant to driving agencies and to progress and promote the Sector Group. The Committee is also responsible for auditing applicants for membership.

Drivers Sector Group Account Manager
Lynne Garcia is the account Manager for 4 Sector Groups and 3 Regions. In her role as Drivers Sector Group Account Manager she is responsible for:

  • Coordinating all the activities of the Sector Group
  • Assisting the Chair and Executive Members with their responsibilities;
  • Communicating to members the activities of the Sector Group.
