Write to your MP
The 2010 general election saw one of the biggest intakes of new MPs with 226 new MPs taking their seats in Parliament.
The REC is asking you to write to your local MP to ensure they understand how a recruitment business works on the ground, how we help support employers and create jobs and the broader interests of the recruitment industry.
It is always more effective to write to your MP in your own words but the REC have produced a model letter you can download by following the link on the right hand side. We would recommend you email MPs, attaching the manifesto as a pdf but hardcopies are available on request by emailing jason.clayton@rec.uk.com When you receive responses from your MPs, please do send us a copy at the above address. Thank you for your support. It is vital that MPs in this Parliament are aware of the valuable contribution your agency makes both to the economy and in creating job opportunities. You can find contact details for your local MP at: http://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps/
