Diversity Pledge
The REC Diversity Pledge, launched in December 2005 is an initiative run by the REC and Jobcentre Plus which is a commitment made by recruiters to harness the talent and potential of everyone to achieve business success.
Three Easy Steps To Pledging Your Commitment:
1) Take the Online Diversity Diagnostic. It's a Diversity MOT and will take no longer than 30 minutes. At the end it will generate a personal action plan for your company to follow that is bespoke for you.
2) Read the English, Welsh and Scottish Diversity Pledge. This is a joint statement from Jobcentre Plus and the REC showing that your recruitment agency is committed to diverse recruitment. Agencies from Northern Ireland should sign the tailored regional agreement between the REC and Jobcentre Plus.
3) Sign the Pledge. All pledge signatories can advertise themselves as a “Diversity Pledged Recruiter” in bids and tenders.
