Diversity Assured Service

EQuality Assured (EQA) is a certification programme which supports Recruitment Companies to evidence their commitment to equality and inclusion quickly and without fuss.  The service is built upon ‘Diversity Assured Recruitment’ initiative launched by The REC since December 2006 which followed the original REC/Jobcentre Plus Diversity Pledge.

EQA certification is a licensed programme delivered through Professional DiverCity UK, specifically designed to align businesses to the legal requirements of the New Equality Act 2010 and is recognised by corporations and public bodies to effectively check the competence and commitment of suppliers in the area of equality and inclusion.

Businesses undertaking the ‘EQA Equality Standard’ receive a full review across all legislative strands, support and development through action plans to addresses gaps and external verification of their recruitment procedures The process is followed by annual review against agreed targets.
